There is an ancient spot in Hatert, Nijmegen, Netherlands, the place where I was born. Originally it was a small village under Nijmegen but now a residential area of the latter. Huis Hatert (House Hatert) is a remnant of an old castle from the 13th century but destroyed much later. As long as I can remember I was intrigued by the light hovering over it, shimmering through the leafs.
