I love foreshortened positions and although the model is tucked in very tightly, through application of the golden ratio and positioning the model according it, the composition worked out fine. Analysing in retrospective I can see that I could have used some cooler colors in the painting to counterbalance the red. After all it is not painting with Bob Ross, throwing in only colors one likes at first sight. It is a battle zone color balances I search for nowadays.
