Epxressionistic still life oil painting

Pomegranates (2007)

A rather expressionistic approach to a still life. I always loved pomegranates, both for their taste and their appearance. If the charm of the golden ratio and its pentagrams derived from it ever could be represented at its best, then it would be through a painting of pomegranates. That is why I chose for a complementary color scheme consisting of orange and blue. It could not be more expressionistic than through expression of my feelings towards the golden ratio.
