Another project of my roundism series and this time Anita Ekberg is the subject. The reference photo I saw before once or twice. Maybe because I was attracted by the light and dark distribution in it that convinced me to draw her in my roundism style. Even when it is not directly catching light I only did so much to keep her face recognizable just enough.
Her voluptuous forms greatly attributed to the plasticity of her body and by my roundish shapes I even underligned them. In the slanted body position I took the liberty of drawing a gigantic egg-like structure in the left corner, so she look boxed in like in a cameo. In fact it is a mimic of her shouder, only to be repeated in the neck, pony tail line, shoulder and the triceps to the right. That way I could create rhythym by repetition. I employed the same principle in my drawing Roundism – 22-09-20 again.
