Satisfactory

A cubist nude graphite pencil drawing that I personally find satisfactory compared to what I my initial aim was. I got diagonals that run in the same direction and angle, creating rhythym like there is rhythym in light and darkness all around us. Besides that, the quantity of darkness blocks in the fewer lighter areas begetting all the quality.

Unrevealing the Woman

The drawing was intended to unreveal the woman only in the second instance. The fact that the picture is an outtake is conducive to the focus on the abstract quality rather than the goal of recognizing and acknowledging the body shape.

Second Drawing

In 2014 and 2015 I really was in a drawing frenzy. This one is the second one on the same day. You can see the previous one here.
