A classic model study I did yesterday at Leidschendam, Netherlands. I used two strong LED lamps to light the model from both sides in order to get abrupt tonal thresholds, creating almost linear highlit diagonals counterbalancing the vertical sitting position. Blocking in the lights in the background did the rest to create this mixture of realism and impressionism.
