Tristan & Isolde – 09-12-19 (sold)

Knight on Horseback

It so happened that I was instructing a knight on horseback to prance in front of me so I could do a live painting on him, then all of a sudden this beautiful maiden was ruling us both. It was obvious to me Tristan & Isolde had entered the scene and the only thing I could do was to commemorate their eternal love. Lucky for me, they appeared in front of my eyes at ‘Het Valkhof’, the old castle site at Nijmegen, Netherlands.

Ambiguous Image

Click here to read about the principle of ambiguous images as explained in my post ‘Gaia – 16-03-16’. The kissing couple in the right corner also showing the cup, is a classic example of this principle. Nevertheless, not many people have spotted that one unfortunately. Luckily fo me that I sold it quickly.
