Dwy galon, un dyhead – 14-07-20 (sold)

A commissioned piece. I never did a cottage, Usually it is either trees or women. It is often with commissions like these that I come to study things and structures I normally do not draw or paint. I liked strutinizing the structure of the stones and the main objective was to keep a sturdy look on the cottage, putting the stress on the countryside and its rural aspects. To simply fine detail it to the max just would not convey the rough romantic edge that comes with living outside a city.
