23rd May 2021 – Start of Geesje Kwak – the Oil Painting

I consider my previous drawing Geesje Kwak – 10-05-21 (sold) a success and that is why I started an oil painting last week. I haven been struggling with the resemblance the last days and I think I am beginning to capture her finally.

Framed surrealist landscape oil painting

Not finished yet. Some details to do but my father completed the framing job on my new project ‘The Restoration of Bettie Page (2020)’ (oil on wood panel 85 x 120 cm).
