1st January 2022 – Start of a new oil painting ‘Tristan & Isolde’
The first day of a new year needs a new oil painting. Today I started ‘Tristan & Isolde’, an elaboration of a drawing of the same name: ‘Tristan & Isolde – 09-12-19 (sold)’.

23rd May 2021 – Start of Geesje Kwak – the Oil Painting
I consider my previous drawing Geesje Kwak – 10-05-21 (sold) a success and that is why I started an oil painting last week. I haven been struggling with the resemblance the last days and I think I am beginning to capture her finally.
31st March 2021 – Start of a New Painting ‘In Hoc Signo’
Last week I started a new painting project, based on a previous graphite pencil drawing ‘In Hoc Signo – 14-10-19 (sold)’. More post on the work in progress will follow.

On track with my Frida Kahlo project, based on my drawing ‘Sans titre – 11-10-18’. Getting the resemblance right. Covid-19 has entered the scene as well. Lots of work to do.
