What Are Printables?

1) High Resolution Files

Printables are photos of my art works in high resolution, downloadable as digital files for only € 3.99 each. Most of them are 600 dpi or more and are suitable for all small, medium and big paper and canvas sizes. Customers all over the world are happy with the quality.

2) Printable Applications

Once a printable is downloaded you can print it yourself or upload, mail or bring (USB Stick) it to a print shop near you or service like Albelli or any other that can print my art work on your preferable surface (metal, glass, paper – posters, canvas, wall paper, mugs, etc.).

Some examples:

3) Printable versus Print

A printable is a downloaded file (from my website to your computer) to print out. On your computer it looks something like below:

A print is already printed (on paper, alumininum, glass or whatever surface might be convenient).

4) Printable Advantages

Key advantages to buying a printable:

a)

Costs less than a print. Website that offer prints charge money for their added value as well and shipment can be expensive.

b)

You can print them out or have them print by your local printshop. Put in a passepartout and framed it will look great.

c)

Many prints arrive damaged or do not suit expectations. Complaints and returns are such a drag long distance.

d)

There are plenty of print shops or services all around the world. A glass window in the frame survives transportation to your home better than by plane.

e)

Full control over color, size and appearance of passepartout, surface, framing and glass.

10) What kind of Paper Should I Use?

This is a personal choice, but heavyweight matte paper is preferable.

Many office supply stores sell high quality heavyweight matte photo paper that will work well with your desktop printer. You can also use satin, semi-gloss or glossy paper for your prints, both for my colored as well as monochrome art works.

11) I Want a Print, Not a Printable

That is quite alright. I understand that not everyone wants to download a file and take the effort to bring it to a print shop or service.

You can also order a print of one of my art works on print partners I work with like Noir Gallery and iCanvas. They take and ship order from everywhere around the world.

12) Adding More Printables

I add more printables constantly. Your chance to see and/or print my work in full detail or have it print at your local print store.

Do you see an art work that is not added yet? Mail me and I will put it online for you.
