Cubistic landscape graphite pencil drawing

Beek – 30-05-19

I was heading for the Filosofendal (Valley of the Philisophers) between Beek-Ubbergen and Berg en Dal at Gelderland, Netherlands when I decided to take a turn to the left. I came across a section of the Smorenhoek that I did not explore since my childhood. I saw a great little valley with the Duivelsberg (Mount Devil) in the back. I tried to capture the slanted hillside (Duivelsberg) by encapturing it in my roundish moves.

Another Drawing

After this one I made another drawing, called ‘Beek 11-06-19’. It is on the same spot but a little bit further back on the trail I was standing on. Both drawings though were executed in my roundism style. The round shapes of the tree in the front I emulated in the next one, called ‘Voorburg – 01-06-19’. Sometimes I get the hang of it and do a series of drawings performing the same tricks.
