Flowering Trees (2014) (sold)

(at Looistraat, Heumen, Gelderland, Netherlands)

Longing for spring makes me post this one. I closely studied Camille Pisarro and saw leaves, blossom transcending into the negative space around it very gradually. This inspired me to do this piece. I find pink a very underestimated colour that could be used in skies and outdoor paintings exuberantly, at least Pisarro and Sisley, among others did, and I will continue doing that. It is sold to a Chinese collector.
