A study after sunlight hitting a still life with extreme backlight, with hints of impressionism. I used a lot of phtalo blue, a perfect green blue color contrasting the white and the payne’s grey of the roof.

I also got obsessed by the sharp shadows – especially the balcony bars – slowly fading as being cast farther on the roof.
