Cubistic nude graphite pencil drawing

Nude – 07-04-15

Variation 2 (cubistic feel to it) following the realist one, being ‘Nude – 06-04-15’. Before I turned to round abstraction I wanted to abstract the nude motif in straight lines first. I find it comfortable to study the angles first so I can make better judgement on what kind of roundish forms I can create later. I liked keeping the plains open in order to have the spectator wander through the negative and positive space without feeling the encumbrance of contour delineations.
