With her slender body Bettie Page always has been a great model to put my project ’roundism’ on wheels. There’s not a single curve in her body that doesn’t makes me go cubistic.
Oss – 05-01-17
Oss is a medium sized city in Noord-Bravant, Netherlands and I was in the local museum there (Jan Cunen) I had this view on Oss with the trees at the left of the drawing flowing into the clouds.

An experiment on how to open up forms as much as possible according to my style ’roundism’. I wanted to have the model ‘breathe’ the space around her as much as possible.

The style of roundism put into colours and open spheres. I strongly looked for an overall distribution of the colour scheme so that none of the colours used would be dominant over another
Nude – 11-11-16
This colored pencil drawing ‘Nude – 11-11-16’ is a cubist female form again. I took the inside out, the outside in from a visual perspective.

I took my dear colleague Julia Filament to the Mauritshuis, where I placed her in front of ‘The Girl with the pearl earring’ by Vermeer and rendered her cubistically.
Sans titre – 25-10-16 (sold)
One from the series ‘sans titre’ depicting moviestars. This one is a tribute to Mary Pickford in some kind of cubistic roundish style.

A commission to do a pet was a big challenge for me. I have never done a dog before.
