In this drawing I tried to play with triangles, circles and rectangulars forming the model posture. Next to this the laws of singularity as described earlier apply just very nicely.

This is the painting based on a previous drawing ‘Sans titre – 25-10-16’ depicting Mary Pickford, one of the first female leading ladies in movie history.

This time I made Bettie somehow rectangular, circular and squareish, matching her perfect female forms to simplifyed geometric shapes, not loosing a hint of impressionistic feel of realism.

A second commission for the man in the title of the work. This one is done in the style from the (my) past when I liked to combine angular planes and hatched strokes.
