The Hague Golf & Country club (2014)

This pastel drawing ‘The Hague Golf & Country Club (2014)’ is my attempt to equal skills with those of Pissarro. The grandmaster in depicting foliage.one big light show at the end of autumn.
Splash (2013)

An experiment in pastel to get flow without blending out with my fingers (in order to avoid ‘muddy segments’ in my pastels).
Nude couple (2013) (sold)

A quick sketch of an old picture I once found that I quickly sold to one of my students.
Clingendael – 14-08-13

A quick impressionistic sketch from my tours through The Hague and its parks. This one is Clingendael.
Adam & Eve – 08-05-13 (sold)

Found a pastel in the ‘garbage’ map of pastels that I found to be not very bad after all. Takes me back a couple of years when I did a lot of hatching.
The Old Church (Oude Kerk) at Voorburg – 27-08-13

A drawing like other ones I make when I wander about through town.
Palace Huis Ten Bosch – 27-07-13

A sketch of the royal palace at The Hague, Netherlands.
Autumn tree at Laren (2013) (sold)

Museum at Laren, Noord-Holland, Netherlands, I walk by this tree. In spring and in fall it shows magnificent colours. It is not always that I paint impressionistically but this tree was worth doing it.
Pastel Study 04 (2013)

A classic pastel study of a classic sort of model pose. I liked the diagonals.
Cubistic nude (06) (2013)

Just like ‘Cubistic nude – 04 (2013)’ this one is featured in a daily dutch television soap although scaled down too small. I liked doing some strong stuff through a complementary mix purple / yellow.
