Mother Nature – 22-01-21

Mother Nature holds many secrets but let me sketch you the following. All of a sudden you spot a naked woman on her own in the middle of a forest.

Strelitzia (2007)

This oil painting ‘Strelitzia (2007) depicts a flower that’s one of my favorites. Put in a granate shell my grandfather found during World War II.

One of the ‘Sans Titre’ Series after the moviestar and celebrity Gene Tierney in the roundism style. Co-actors ruined a shoot just to kiss her again.

Fox the Fox – 04-05-22

Fox the Fox -04-05-22 is an elaboration of a graphite pencil drawing Nude – 04-10-15 I made years ago. Foxy parts go surreal!

Tristan & Isolde – 09-12-19

It so happened that I was instructing a knight on horseback to prance in front of me so I could do a live painting on him, then all of a sudden this beautiful maiden was ruling us both.

Yeast – 18-09-19 (sold)

My model came with this pose Modonna used for one of her albums. Originally it was intented to do square sized pastels because I happen to have 4 spare square frames but today I saw a greater scheme I had to work out first.

Julia – 02-08-19

Last year I used dancer Julia Gómez Avilés as a model. Next to being a wonderful person for an artist she is ideal because of her flexibility.

Initiatrix – 03-12-18

The third art work in my new series on Egypt. I experimented with my personal style ‘roundism’ in combination with realism and surrealism.

Oudaen – 26-11-18

Last year I was at Oudaen, a city castle at Utrecht, Netherlands which now is a crowdy hotspot for party people. I was dining near the window in the corner with hundreds of people around me but a single cat was lying quietly by the window.
