Clingendael – 31-08-22

A graphite pencil drawing of a canal in Clingendael, bordered by tall trees whose long shadows fall across the water. Light enters from the left, creating a rhythmic play of tones along the canal’s surface. Monochrome, 31 × 24 cm, by Corné Akkers.

This graphite pencil drawing ‘Clingendael – 31-08-22’ reflects my impressionist interpretation of a specific corner of the estate.

Wag the Dog – 24-04-22

surrealist nude oil painting
