This oil painting ‘Gaia – 16-03-16’ lets you step into the world of pareidolia. Do you see a woman or multiple animals, or both? Mother Earth provides for all.

A classic study of the female corpse in pastel. I put the stress on the high lights.

A pastel that was lingering about in my studio for years until I completed it. I went for a strong purple / yellow contrast. It’s now with a private collector in China.

Rotterdam – Coolhaven – 02-03-16 (sold)

A rather impressionistic view on Coolhaven (part of the harbour of Rotterdam). I made this drawing inspired by a trip to Rotterdam when I passed by the Coolhaven and I lost a contact that day so I saw it quite blurry.

Pearls – 2016-03-01 (Sold)

This was commissioned work and the purpose was to capture sensuality and through cubist forms get the round female shapes.
