Autumn tree at Laren (2013) (sold)
Museum at Laren, Noord-Holland, Netherlands, I walk by this tree. In spring and in fall it shows magnificent colours. It is not always that I paint impressionistically but this tree was worth doing it.
The Ooij polder (2013)
A pointillistic view on The Ooij Polder, an area between the German border and Nijmegen, the place where I grew up.

A classic pastel study of a classic sort of model pose. I liked the diagonals.

Just like ‘Cubistic nude – 04 (2013)’ this one is featured in a daily dutch television soap although scaled down too small. I liked doing some strong stuff through a complementary mix purple / yellow.

One I did as a commission. It’s a combination of straight planes and round forms putting the stress on the model’s movements.
