This drawing was a commissioned one, depicting Maria Harp, a dutch-american jazz singer. Although it look cubistic I consider it not to be. Perhaps an extreme styling but the forms remain closed.

The sans titre series continued in 2015 in bigger dimensions (A4). This one is Ginger Rogers, american actress and starring next to Fred Astaire in fabulous dance movies in the 1930s). She is with a private collector now in the United States.

The birth of new cubism – 25-12-14

The last one I named that way. It’s a prestudy for a pastel that followed. A Tunesian girl Asma that I met on Facebook was the model.
