An impressionistic view on the bridge over the river Waal at Nijmegen, Gelderland, Netherlands. It is the place where I was born and raised and i know that bridge like no one else. It is also full of history, being the bridge that was the last bridge that was not too far during operation Market Garden in 1944.

I kept the bridge deliberately impressionistic without too many details because that is how she appears in front of your eyes at a certain distance.
