Taking it further I pushed ’roundism’ to new heights and heaftier movements. This one depicts Darja Collin, the wife of author and poet Slauerhoff. A student of mine came with the picture I have never seen before. He took it in a gallery somewhere and I was intrigued by the pose. Since she looks like a needle I had to come up with som circular invention to give it a swirl and mass.
