Since Corona has brought a new reality and forces so many countries to lock down, there is nothing much left for me but to teach some of the students that have the guts to show up and in the evenings I spend my time drawing and painting. But hey, the life of an artist always looks that way.

This graphite pencil drawing ‘Roundism – 10-03-20’ takes me back tot he 1920s. It matches my personal Roundism style very well.

Of late I was busy painting ‘The Restoration of Bettie Page’ and since a month or so drawings do not sprout from my pencil that often. But sometimes you have to let the painting be for a day and return to drawing process.

It so happened that I was instructing a knight on horseback to prance in front of me so I could do a live painting on him, then all of a sudden this beautiful maiden was ruling us both.

Last Thursday 21th of November I had my regular model over again in my studio and it was a good session. I placed two led light sources next to her, creating a nice razor light over her body.
