Sold an art work to a Russian collector today

After my drawing of Rotterdam – Coolhaven I wanted to do Delftshaven – another part of the old harbour area of Rotterdam but in a slight cubistic way.

A pastel that was lingering about in my studio for years until I completed it. I went for a strong purple / yellow contrast. It’s now with a private collector in China.
Rotterdam – Coolhaven – 02-03-16 (sold)
A rather impressionistic view on Coolhaven (part of the harbour of Rotterdam). I made this drawing inspired by a trip to Rotterdam when I passed by the Coolhaven and I lost a contact that day so I saw it quite blurry.
Pearls – 01-03-16 (sold)
This was commissioned work and the purpose was to capture sensuality and through cubist forms get the round female shapes.

Part of the sans titre series, depicting Bette Davis, American actress and celebrity.

This graphite pencil drawing ‘Nude – 25-02-16 (Sold) shows my attraction to the curvature of model’s hips, buttocks and legs.
