Veere – 04-04-19
Last weekend I was walking through Veere at Zeeland, Netherlands, a little pittoresque town. I returned to my car when I saw the sign ‘city wall tour’ and I decided to take that one and then, when I climbed onto them, I saw this great composition that reminded me of Caravaggio’s ‘Descent from the cross’, a perfect staircase composition – triangles within one big triangle.

I was walking on a Sunday afternoon, the last very hot one of this summer and the central square was deserted. No one was there because of the dying heat and I saw naked women dancing on it.
Oude Kerk (The Old Church) at Voorburg – 15-12-17
When I went out for a drink with an old friend at Voorburg I was a little early and standing in front of the bar looking at the Old Church (Oude Kerk or St. Martin’s Church) at Ve oorburg and was struck by the lighting from below almost setting the church ‘on fire.
