Haagse Bos (The Hague Forest) – 2014-03-13

THe Hague Forest (Haagse Bos) is near my home and always an inspirational source to me. I love trees and I love women and so they are always with me in my art.

De Hofvijver (The Court’s Pond) – 2014-03-09

I had my mind set to draw the ‘Court’s Pond’ (de ‘Hofvijver’) at The Hague, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands for quite some time.
Elementary Particles (2014) (sold)

An early very abstract cubist pastel that I like to do. The planes look so scatteered that I decided to call it ‘elementary particles’. It’s in Quatar now bought by a private collector.
Gemeentemuseum 04 – 2014

One in the series I made of the Gemeentemuseum at The Hague, Zuid-Holland, Nederland. To honour Mondriaan I made it in a cubistic way.
Cubistic Nude 07 (2014) (sold)

With this pastel I was unfolding my way of cubism with different means than graphite only. This one is in Scotland in the hands of a private collector.
Estate ‘Voorlinden’ – 2013-08-21

A sketch of estate ‘Voorlinden’ (at Wassenaar, Netherlands), bought by Mr. Caldenborgh who built a fine museum of modern art next to the old manor some time later.
Clingendael – 2013-08-14

A quick impressionistic sketch from my tours through The Hague and its parks. This one is Clingendael.
Meyendel Mountain (Meyendelse berg) – 2013-08-11

A vista point of view to draw from. Challenging enough because of lack of tonality. I had the bramberry-like bushes in front to get the depth going.
