Model Study – 2011

An instructional sketch I did for my students. I often make these drawings during class in order to teach them the principles of good proportional measurements.
Cubistic woman (2010)

This oil painting ‘Cubist Woman (2010) probably is the first painting I made in this style. However, it looks more like stained glass than cubism, I think.
Reims (2009)

A surrealistic piece of a former girlfriend from Reims.
papaya (2008) (sold)

A still life in which I tried to combine cubism and realism in such respect that the cubistic papaya would be looking realistic as well.
Old and young pomegranate (2007) (sold)

One of the many oil paintings but few still lifes I made throughout the years.
Strelitzia (2007)

This oil painting ‘Strelitzia (2007) depicts a flower that’s one of my favorites. Put in a granate shell my grandfather found during World War II.
Pomegranates (2007)

A rather expressionistic approach to a still life.
Secret of the 50s (2007)

A surrealistic piece on Al Zarqawi and a domestic scene on the face of the moon.
Self portrait 2 (2007)

The one and only screenprint I made.
Etude (2005)

A quick study. I liked doing something simple and I arranged the objects in a triangular position. With only some faint color usage. I guess I was learning the trade of oil painting still, seeing this one after all these years.
