The Carolingian Chapel – 30-06-18
When I was visiting the Bastei, a new museum at the base of the Valkhof at Nijmegen, Gelderland, Netherlands, my eye caught the Sint-Nicolaaskapel or better known as ‘The Carolingian Chapel’.
The Hague Forest – 21-06-18
When I ride my bike through The Hague Forest (Haagse Bos) just around the corner I see only beauty.
Leiden – 23-01-18
When I was walking across the Morspoort Bridge at Leiden I saw this incredible clouds party over Mill ‘De Put’ at the river Rijn towards the Weddesteeg across the water, where Rembrandt was born.
The sheik of Araby – 15-10-17
I always love this jazz song and when listening to jazz doing my nudes in my apartment I made the connection all of a sudden, as I often do between visual art and music.
I lost my contacts – 23-09-17

Mary Pickford – 13-09-17
This is the painting based on a previous drawing ‘Sans titre – 25-10-16’ depicting Mary Pickford, one of the first female leading ladies in movie history.
Delft – 19-08-17 (sold)
As I came across Delft by bike I saw the ‘Nieuwe Kerk’ bathing in sunlight and thought it to be a great opportunity to send it to heaven being a Saturnus rocket standing on a launch platform.
Ascension – 24-05-17
The working title was ‘God is loose’ but ‘Ascension’ describes it better.
The mythical appearance of Alexis de Roode at Voorburg – 15-05-17 (sold)
These times call for a poet that says it all.
Bettie Page – 24-02-17
Another drawing by me of Bettie Page returning to surrealism again. After scrutinizing her features and estimating what her character would have been like I came to an inescapable conclusion. Eggs, rabbits, dogs and snakes could be derived from her and were essential for her expression.
