Nude – 04-10-15

This graphite pencil drawing ‘Nude 04-10-15’ a full display of the principles of ambiguous image. Women are foxy!
The return of Bettie Page – 12-08-15

This is the first roundism oil painting I made of American pin-up and celebrity Bettie Page, after a first drawing I made in the beginning of 2015.
Bettie Page is one person I always admired. Not only she is sexy as hell but also because she deared to flirt with her sexuality in an era throughout the world many were prunes (and still are today).

An impressionistic view on the buttocks of my favourite model.
Pieternella – 18-07-15 (sold)

Commissioned work. They wanted a portrait in a cubistic style. I used velours paper so I could make planes very easily with my Schmincke pastels.

The Hague forest – 23-06-15

This graphite pencil drawing ‘The Hague Forest (Haagse Bos) – 23-06-15’ actually depicts a place quite near. It became a bit of impressionism.
Rotterdam Overschie – 18-06-15 (sold)

A sketch I did of Rotterdam Overschie, at the river Schie.
Nude – 17-06-15

When I saw this photo for the first time I didn’t know what to think of it. I do not relate to so-called romantic art of ballerinas and dancers striking great poses. Therefor I had to come up with something different and I was intrigued by the pose nevertheless.
Julia Filament – 20-05-15 (sold)

A portrait of my distinguished colleague in art Julai Filament, drawn in Rotterdam, made in a live session at Rotterdam.
