I started this one at Studio Brugman, Voorburg, Netherlands at King’s Day (Koningsdag) last year after the previous two drawings ‘Tree at Voorburg’.
Breaking up a forest into planes of light, darkness and cubistic forms. It’s called ‘The Valley of the Philisophers’ (Filosofendal) at Berg en Dal, near Nijmegen, Gelderland, Netherlands (Nederland).
An impressionistic clairobscur drawing that I like to make when in spring the sun is out there again and the greens are sprouting.
A search for capturing a still life in my kind of cubism. For this one I looked closely to Cézanne.
