Many have painted a l’Odalisque but this one is based on a photo by Eugène Durieu (1850’s). I thought even Delacroix used this picture as a reference photo.

This pastel is done after a 1920’s picture I found in an art deco-community online.

This pastel drawing ‘Nude Sitting on Table (2011) (sold)’ is a kind of impressionist I guess. People around me also mentioned realism and art deco.


My one and only attempt to put pastel on canvas board. It doesn’t have enough tooth so I didn’t even finished it.
