I was at ‘Rumour in de Stad’ at the Gemeentemuseum where I saw Breinter, Israëls, among others and this drawing is derived from a photograph Breitner took more than a century ago.

The Court’s Pond (De Hofvijver) – 07-04-17

Situated in the heart of The Hague (Den Haag) next to the Tweede Kamer (dutch Parliament). I wanted to break up the scene into circles, planes and triangles.

Rotterdam – Delftshaven – 31-03-17 (sold)

Situated at Rotterdam, Delftshaven is the old harbour entree for the city of Delft, at the north of Rotterdam. I wanted to do a drawing full of atmosperic depth but still with a bit of cubist styling in it.
