The Green Eyed Girl – 2017 (Sold)

A commission for a classic portrait. The young girl, age 3, has beautiful green eyes (hence the title) and was very animated during the sessions, which is fun to watch but difficult to work with as an artist.
A Metallurgical Approach to Bettie Page – 2017-03-12

Bettie Page was an American pin-up of the 1950s that stood for her sexual liberation in an America that yet had to face the sexual revolution of the 1960s.
Roundism – 2017-03-06

The continuation of my search for roundism.
Bettie Page – 2017-02-24

Another drawing by me of Bettie Page returning to surrealism again. After scrutinizing her features and estimating what her character would have been like I came to an inescapable conclusion. Eggs, rabbits, dogs and snakes could be derived from her and were essential for her expression.
Henk Akkers – 15-02-17 (sold)

A portrait of my dad in roundistic forms. Always great to turn bushes and trees into round and abstract shapes.
Zoelen Forest – 04-02-17 (sold)

I change from nudity to landscapes a lot and I find trees equally attractive.
Henriëtte Sibie – 2017-01-21 (Live Session at Studio Brugman)

In The Netherlands there isn’t a single artist who hasn’t sketched Henriëtte Sibie during a live session.
Bettie Page – 2017-01-16 (Sold)

With her slender body Bettie Page always has been a great model to put my project ’roundism’ on wheels. There’s not a single curve in her body that doesn’t makes me go cubistic.
Oss – 05-01-17

Oss is a medium sized city in Noord-Bravant, Netherlands and I was in the local museum there (Jan Cunen) I had this view on Oss with the trees at the left of the drawing flowing into the clouds.
Roundism – 2016-12-30 (Tribute to Anita Ekberg) (Sold)

Another project of my roundism series.
