My sketchbook with nudes and portraits of women. Getting closer.
I think this one I might have seen in a fashion magazine. Basically I just drew whatever female themes I could get my hands on.
A study in charcoal when I was 16, still learning the trade.
Conté and charcoal drawing on paper.
Graphite pencil drawing on paper.
A drawing by a teenager, admiring a beautiful lady, model and singer Rowan Moore of the Group ‘Centerfold’.
This is an example of the stuff I made when I was a teenager.
Another drawing from the 80’s when I still was studying.
Self portrait made when I was 16, probably the first I ever made.
An early drawing after Anna Fraley AKA Ava Monet, Penthouse Pet in the 1980s.
A study of the female body.
A piece I did when I was a teenager.

Graphite pencil drawing on paper

A study of a body in action slightly out of balance.
This one is Penthouse Pet Ava Monet. I didn’t mind using fashion or other magazines to select models. I had no financial resources to hire models yet and of course I was in love with Pets of the month.
An early full nude I made with conté.
An early nude I made with sanguine conté.
An early full nude I made with charcoal and conté.
An early nude with a lot of clairobscur attention in it.
My sketchbook with nudes and portraits of women. Struggling to learn the trade but advancing.
